This is a summary of Adenanthos oreophilus, a species of tall shrub endemic to southwest Western Australia. It was classified as a distinct species from its close relative A. sericeus in 1978 by Irish botanist E. Charles Nelson. It grows as an erect shrub up to 2 m (7 ft) in height, with erect branches and deeply divided leaves. Its flowers are scarlet. It has an unusually disjunct distribution, with main populations found on East Mount Barren and south to the Fitzgerald River, as well as outlying populations at Mount Desmond, Mount Ragged, and Hill 62. It has potential as a "foliage contrast" for gardens in areas with reliable winter rainfall.
