Urochloa mosambicensis, commonly known as sabi grass, is a type of grass found in southern Africa. It is also referred to as gonya grass and bushveld signal grass. This species is native to the region and is known for its hardiness and adaptability. It is commonly used for grazing and is an important food source for livestock. Sabi grass is also used for erosion control and as a thatching material. Its versatility and resilience make it a valuable plant in the African ecosystem.
