Muhlenbergia reverchonii, also known as seep muhly, is a type of grass found in Oklahoma and Texas in the United States. It is a perennial plant that can grow up to 80 centimeters tall and has long, hairlike leaves. Its inflorescence is a panicle of brown to purplish spikelets. This grass is typically found on rocky calcareous substrates, such as limestone outcrops. It is often used for ornamental purposes, with the cultivar 'Autumn Embers' having a more pink-colored panicle. Aged stands of this grass form a unique curly and fibrous mass.
