Eragrostis desertorum is a type of grass found in Queensland, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. It grows in areas with seasonal wetness, such as gulleys, valleys, and creek fans. This perennial herb spreads through stolons and can grow up to 60 cm tall. Its leaves are stiff and thin, mostly located at the base and can reach up to 12 cm in length. The grass has a panicle-shaped inflorescence that can grow up to 18 cm long. It is similar to another species, E. eriopoda, but can be distinguished by its two stamens.
