Bambusa clavata is a species of bamboo endemic to Bhutan. It is a perennial plant that grows up to 1000–1200 m in height. It has six stamen that are 8–10 mm long and either 2 or 3 stigmas. The spikelets comprise 5 to 8 florets, diminishing at the apex, and numerous glumes.
