Austrostipa ramosissima, commonly known as the stout bamboo grass, is a perennial bunchgrass native to eastern Australia. It is found in well-drained habitats in eucalyptus woodlands or forests, and can reach up to 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) tall. It flowers at any time of the year, and is often cultivated as an ornamental grass for use in gardens and drought tolerant landscaping.
