Juncus littoralis, also known as coastal rush, is a species of rush in the family Juncaceae. It is a large plant with rigid stems and white flowers with dark brown fruit capsules. It is typically found in countries bordering the Mediterranean, Black and Caspian Seas, and is commonly found in sandy coastal habitats. It is important to consider similar species when identifying Juncus littoralis outside of its natural habitat.
