Juncus antarcticus, also known as dwarf rush, is a small flowering plant species native to New Zealand and Australia. It is a perennial plant that forms cushions and has well-developed rhizomes and stolons. The leaves are yellow-brown and the inflorescence is a small cluster of 1-5 flowers. It is found in wetlands, bogs, and mires, and can be found at both high altitudes and sea level. In New Zealand and Australia, it is considered to be of least concern, but in Victoria it is listed as vulnerable.
