Syngonanthus flavidulus, also known as yellow hatpins, is a perennial flowering plant found in the southeastern United States. It belongs to the Syngonanthus genus and the pipewort family Eriocaulaceae. This plant can reach up to a foot in height and is commonly found in flatwoods, prairies, and pond margins. Its small white button-like flowers bloom from February to July and it has shiny leaves. In 1903, Eugen Otto Wilhelm Ruhland reclassified this plant from Eriocaulon to Syngonanthus.
