Rhynchospora latifolia, also called sandswamp whitetop or tall whitetop sedge, is a plant species belonging to the Cyperaceae family. It has a grass-like appearance and can reach heights of 1 to 3 feet. The plant is characterized by its modified white leaves, known as bracts, which grow on top. It is commonly found in the southeastern region of the United States.
