It is a perennial plant that grows in wet areas, such as marshes, swamps, and wet meadows. It has a rhizome root system and can reach heights of up to 1.5 meters. The leaves are long and narrow, and the flowers are yellow-green in color. The plant is used in traditional medicine for treating a variety of ailments, including fever, colds, and headaches. It is also used as a food source and for its ornamental value.
