Carex brizoides, also known as the quaking sedge or quaking-grass sedge, is a plant species found in central and southern Europe. While it is a native species, it has a tendency to become invasive in disturbed woodlands, where it can form a dense layer on the forest floor and decrease the diversity of other plant species.
