Aechmea nudicaulis is a popular bromeliad plant that is commonly used for decorative purposes. It is found in various regions of Central and South America, as well as the West Indies and Mexico. There are several recognized varieties of this species, and many cultivars have been created through selective breeding and hybridization with other bromeliad species. These cultivars are widely available for purchase.
