Aechmea dealbata is a bromeliad species native to the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It is an epiphytic plant that can also be grown in soil, and is often cultivated in gardens. It has spiny green foliage and a complex pink and purple inflorescence. There are several cultivars of this species, including 'Bill Hobbs', 'Electrica (Electra)', 'Fireman Sam', 'Margarita L.', 'Morris Henry Hobbs', and 'Ralph Davis'.
