Peperomia verticillatispica is a type of epiphyte plant that belongs to the pepper genus Peperomia. It is typically found in wet tropical environments and was first identified by William Trelease and Truman G. Yuncker in 1950. This plant is native to Ecuador and Colombia, with specimens being found at varying elevations in both countries. In Colombia, it can be found at elevations of 280 to 1750 meters, while in Ecuador it has been collected at elevations of 530 to 1200 meters.
