Peperomia tenuipila is a plant species belonging to the Peperomia genus and is native to New Guinea. It was first described in 1914 and its name is derived from the Latin words for thin hairs. This plant primarily grows in wet tropical biomes and is endemic to Indonesia. It is currently listed as Not Threatened on the Angiosperm Extinction Risk Predictions v1, although with low confidence.
