Peperomia tenelliformis is a type of plant in the Piperaceae family that can be found in wet tropical areas. It was first described by William Trelease in 1929 and is a small, stoloniferous herb with slender stems and small, three-nerved leaves. The species name, which means "tender form" in Latin, reflects the delicate nature of this plant. It is primarily found in Costa Rica and Panama, with the first specimens being discovered at an altitude of 1600 meters in Costa Rica.
