Peperomia enervis is a small succulent herb in the pepper family Piperaceae that is native to the rainforests of northeast Queensland, Australia. It was first described in 1891 and has since been found in two separate populations near the cities of Cairns and Mackay. The plant has small, glabrous leaves and produces tiny, inconspicuous flowers on terminal spikes. Its fruit is a dark brown berry containing a single seed. Flowering occurs between January and May, with fruits ripening from April to July. The species is closely related to the pepper genus Piper and its name, enervis, refers to the obscure venation of its leaves. Peperomia enervis is found in high altitude rainforests and is listed as least concern under the Queensland Government's Nature Conservation Act. Its conservation status has not yet been assessed by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
