Oxalis palmifrons is a plant species belonging to the wood sorrel family, Oxalidaceae, and is native to the Northern and Western Cape provinces of South Africa. It has a dark brown bulb, short petioles, and palmate leaflets, and occasionally produces white or yellow flowers. This species is typically found in open, flat areas with hard clayey soil and is endemic to the mentioned regions of South Africa. It is part of the Oxalis tomentosa alliance, which also includes other species such as O. oligophylla, O. hygrophila, O. tomentosa, and O. saltusbelli.
