Acrophyllum australe is a rare woody plant found in a small region of New South Wales, Australia. It is considered a vulnerable species by the Australian Department of the Environment and Heritage. This evergreen shrub has small, shiny, serrated leaves and inconspicuous white flowers that grow from purplish stems. It is often grown for gardening purposes. The genus Acrophyllum is the only species in its group and belongs to the Cunoniaceae family. It has been known by other names such as Calycomis D.Don and Acrophyllum venosum, Acrophyllum verticillatum, and Weinmannia australis.
