Ludwigia sphaerocarpa, also known as globe-fruited false-loosestrife, is a plant commonly found in North America. It is known by various names such as globefruit primrose-willow, round-fruited false-loosestrife, and spherical-fruited seedbox. However, despite its widespread presence, this plant is listed as endangered in Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and as threatened in Michigan and New York. It has also been declared extirpated in Pennsylvania. This highlights the need for conservation efforts to protect this species and its habitat.
