Fuchsia paniculata is a shrub that grows up to 3 meters tall and has bright red and purple flowers. The flowers have five petals and are arranged in a panicle-like inflorescence. The leaves are simple, opposite, and ovate with serrated margins. The plant is drought-tolerant and prefers moist, well-drained soils. It is also tolerant of light shade and can be grown in containers.
