Epilobium rigidum, also known as stiff willowherb or Siskiyou Mountains willowherb, is a rare flowering plant found in the Klamath Mountains of northern California and southern Oregon. It prefers dry, open areas in lower elevation coniferous forests, particularly on serpentine soils. This perennial herb has tough, peeling stems and produces bright pink flowers with heart-shaped petals and pointed reddish sepals. Its fruit is a hairy capsule that can reach up to 3.5 centimeters in length.
