Thryptomene longifolia is a shrub with needle-shaped leaves and pink flowers that is native to inland areas of South Australia. It typically grows up to 2 meters tall and has cylindrical leaves with a hooked tip. The flowers are pink and have five to eight petals and stamens. This plant was first described in 1986 and is found in the north of South Australia, specifically on red sand dunes. Its specific epithet, longifolia, refers to its long leaves. Flowering occurs in May.
