The flowers of Syzygium antisepticum are small and compact, growing in clusters. They are followed by small, white, berry-like fruits.

Syzygium antisepticum, also known as shore eugenia, is a medium-sized tree native to Maritime Southeast Asia. It is found in dry evergreen forests, particularly in coastal areas, on the islands of Sumatra, Java, and Borneo. The tree has a distinctive red trunk with flaky bark and glossy dark green leaves on the upper side and paler leaves on the lower side. Its flowers are small and compact, growing in clusters, and are followed by small, white, berry-like fruits.
