Syzygium abatakum is a plant species belonging to the Myrtaceae family and is commonly known as kalek jambu or kilat jambu. It is native to Sumatra and can grow up to 10 meters in height. The leaves are arranged opposite each other and the plant produces white flowers on a terminal panicle or corymb. The fruits of this species have not been observed. It is similar to Syzygium pyrifolium and Syzygium angbahsin. This plant is typically found in lowland forests at altitudes ranging from 100 to 930 meters.
