Plinia inflata, also known as mulchi in Ecuador and cambucá equatoriano in Brazil, is a plant species from the Myrtaceae family. It is found exclusively in the Ecuadorian and Brazilian Amazon and can reach heights of 3 to 4 meters. The tree bears edible yellow-orange fruits and has been previously misidentified as Eugenia subterminalis.
