Myrcianthes coquimbensis, also known as lucumillo, is a small evergreen shrub found in the Coquimbo Region of Chile. It is part of the Myrtaceae family and is considered to be endangered. This shrub produces edible fruits and has oval or elliptical leaves with a leathery texture. Its flowers are white and grow either singly or in groups of three. The fruit is a fleshy berry with one or two seeds and turns red when ripe. It is typically found in coastal areas with moist conditions and is often associated with other plants and shrubs. Due to habitat loss and other factors, the conservation status of this species is endangered.
