Micromyrtus trudgenii is a unique plant species that belongs to the Myrtaceae family and is only found in Western Australia. This shrub can reach a height of 1 to 2 metres and is typically found in the Wheatbelt region, specifically in the area between Perenjori and Yalgoo. It thrives in loamy-clay soils over ironstone or dolerite and is commonly found on hills and ridges. The species name, trudgenii, is a tribute to Malcolm Eric Trudgen.
