Micromyrtus rotundifolia is a shrub in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, that is found only in south-eastern Queensland. It has round leaves and small white flowers with 5 or 6 stamens. The plant typically grows to a height of 0.4-2.5m and is found in shallow, sandy soils in shrubland or woodland. It is a rare species and is listed as "vulnerable" under the Queensland Government Nature Conservation Act 1992. The species was first described in 1997 and its name, rotundifolia, refers to the shape of its leaves. Flowering has been observed in February, August, and September.
