Micromyrtus blakelyi is a small shrub that belongs to the myrtle family and is typically found near the Hawkesbury River in Sydney. It is commonly found in depressions and crevices in Hawkesbury Sandstone and has a low, cushion-like growth habit. The shrub reaches a height of 0.3 to 0.6 metres and blooms from August to October. It is considered a rare plant and is listed as vulnerable in New South Wales. The shrub was first discovered by botanists in 1958 and was named after William Faris Blakely.
