Melaleuca tinkeri is a small shrub in the myrtle family, endemic to the south-west region of Western Australia. It is known for its warty, hairy leaves, pinkish flowers, and spherical fruiting clusters. The plant typically grows to a maximum height of 1m and has linear to narrow egg-shaped leaves covered in soft hairs. Its flowers bloom from July to October and are followed by woody capsules packed tightly together in clusters. This species was first described in 1999 and is named after Allan Tinker. It is found in the Nandanooka and Lesueur National Park areas, growing in shallow, gravelly sand. Currently, it is not considered a threatened species by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife.
