Melaleuca pulchella, also known as claw flower or claw honey-myrtle, is a plant in the myrtle family that is native to the south of Western Australia. It is a hardy shrub with arching branches and small leaves, and is known for its unique flowers with curved stamens that resemble claws. The plant blooms from September to February and produces woody capsules as fruit. It was first described in 1812 and is found in sandy soils in the Esperance Plains and Mallee regions. Melaleuca pulchella is not considered a threatened species and is popular in gardens due to its small size, long flowering period, and attractive flowers. It is relatively tolerant of phosphates, making it adaptable to different garden conditions.
