Melaleuca agathosmoides is a unique shrub in the myrtle family that is found only in a small area in the south-west of Western Australia. Unlike other plants in its genus, its flowers grow along long lengths of old wood. It typically grows to a height of 0.5-2 meters and has small, smooth leaves arranged in alternating pairs. The flowers are cream or white and appear between July and November. The plant is named after its resemblance to plants in the genus Agathosma. It is found in the Lake King district of Western Australia and is classified as a "Priority One" species, meaning it is at risk due to its limited distribution.
