Melaleuca adenostyla is a plant that belongs to the myrtle family, Myrtaceae, and is found only in the south-west region of Western Australia. It is a tall shrub with narrow leaves and cream-colored flowers that typically grows in areas with high salt content. The leaves are arranged in pairs and the flowers are clustered in spikes at the end of branches. This species is similar to another melaleuca, M. platycalyx, but can be distinguished by its smaller size, pinkish to mauve-colored flowers, and fewer stamens. M. adenostyla was first described in 1999 and its name means "glandular style". It is found in the Avon Wheatbelt and Mallee regions of Western Australia and thrives in sandy, saline environments. This species is not considered threatened by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife.
