Kunzea preissiana is a flowering plant found in the southwest region of Western Australia. It belongs to the myrtle family and is commonly seen in the area. The shrub has hairy branches and leaves, and produces pink to mauve flowers in clusters at the end of its shoots. It also has 20-30 stamens of similar length to the petals. This species is widespread and can be found in various habitats across its range. It is described as a shrub with erect stems and linear to lance-shaped leaves. The flowers bloom mainly in September and October, and the fruit is a hairy, urn-shaped capsule. Kunzea preissiana was first described by botanist Johannes Conrad Schauer in 1844 and is found in gravelly lateritic soil in kwongan and shrubland. It is not considered a threatened species by the Western Australian Government Department of Parks and Wildlife.
