Homoranthus bebo is a rare flowering plant that belongs to the Myrtaceae family and is found only in a small area in northern New South Wales. It is a low-lying shrub with flat leaves and groups of yellow flowers. The plant is endemic to the Dthinna Dthinnawan Nature Reserve near Yetman and is described as being 0.05-0.2m high and 0.5-2m wide. Its leaves are shiny, lime-green, and arranged in pairs with a pointed tip. The flowers are lemon-colored and bloom from September to November. This plant was first described in 2011 and its name, "bebo", refers to the state forest where it was first collected. It is currently only known to exist in a single population of around 300 individuals in the Dthinna Dthinnawan Nature Reserve, which is located on deep sandy soils over sandstone. Due to its limited distribution and population size, Homoranthus bebo is classified as critically endangered under the Australian Government EPBC Act of 1999.
