Eucalyptus woodwardii, also known as lemon-flowered gum or Woodward's blackbutt, is a small tree native to Western Australia. It grows up to 15 meters tall and has smooth, shedding bark, and dull grey-green leaves. Its lemon yellow flowers bloom in late winter to late spring and are followed by bell-shaped fruits containing red seeds. This tree is popular in southern Australia for its attractive appearance and ability to tolerate drought and frost. It is also a favorite among bees and birds. In the 1970s, hybrids of this tree and coral gum were developed and are commercially available.
