Eucalyptus urna, also known as merrit, is a type of mallet or marlock tree found in southern areas of Western Australia. It has smooth bark, lance-shaped leaves, and urn-shaped fruit. The tree can grow up to 16 meters tall and has a distinctive square stem with a wing on each corner. Its flower buds are arranged in groups of seven to thirteen and produce creamy yellow to white flowers. The fruit is a woody capsule with fragile valves. Eucalyptus urna was first described in 1999 and its name refers to the shape of its fruit. It is found in open woodlands in the eastern and southeastern parts of Western Australia and is not considered a threatened species.
