Eucalyptus sweedmaniana is a unique species of mallee tree that is found only in a small area of the Cape Arid National Park in Western Australia. It has smooth, silvery grey bark, glossy green leaves, red flower buds, and pink flowers. The tree grows to about 1 meter in height and 5 meters in width, and has a lignotuber. It is primarily found on the lower coastal slopes of Mount Arid, where it is exposed to salt spray. The species was first described in 2009 and is named after Luke Sweedman, a former curator of the Western Australian Seed Technology Centre. Due to its limited distribution, Eucalyptus sweedmaniana is considered a priority species for conservation.
