Eucalyptus semota, also known as marymia mallee, is a small tree or mallee that is native to a small area in central Western Australia. It has rough, flaky bark on the trunk and smooth grey or brown bark above, with linear to narrow lance-shaped leaves. The flower buds grow in groups of seven or nine and produce white flowers, followed by conical to cup-shaped fruit. This species was first described in 1996 and its name, semota, refers to its remote location from other related species. It is found in three separate populations in clay soils near Marymia Hill and Kumarina. Due to its limited distribution, it is classified as a "Priority One" species by the Government of Western Australia Department of Parks and Wildlife.
