Eucalyptus sargentii, also known as Salt River gum, is a tree species native to Western Australia. It can grow up to 12 meters tall and has smooth greenish bark with rough patches. The leaves are linear or lance-shaped and the flowers are whitish to creamy yellow. The fruit is a woody capsule. It was first described in 1924 and named after naturalist Oswald Hewlett Sargent. There are three recognized subspecies, with one being classified as "Priority Three" due to its limited distribution and potential for use in reclaiming saline sites. This species is found in open woodlands near salt lakes and creeks in the Avon Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. While one subspecies is not considered threatened, the other is poorly known and found in only a few locations.
