Eucalyptus salmonophloia, also known as salmon gum, wurak, weerluk, woonert, or marrlinja, is a small to medium-sized tree native to Western Australia. It has smooth bark, narrow lance-shaped leaves, creamy white flowers, and hemispherical fruit. The species was first described by botanist Ferdinand von Mueller in 1878 and is found in the Murchison, Mallee, Esperance Plains, and Coolgardie regions of Western Australia. It is listed as not threatened under Western Australia's Wildlife Conservation Act, but is considered vulnerable by the International Union for Conservation of Nature due to its fragmented population. The tree is known for its durable timber, which is used for railway sleepers and mining shaft supports, and its leaves are a source of essential oils. It is also an important species for honey production and has a lifespan of over 150 years.
