Eucalyptus rudderi, also known as Rudder's box, is a tree species that is native to northern New South Wales. It can reach heights of 30-40 meters and has rough, fibrous or flaky bark. The leaves are lance-shaped and green, with flower buds arranged in groups of seven and white flowers. The fruit is a woody capsule. This species was first described in 1905 and is named after the collector of the type specimen, Augustus Rudder. It is found in shallow soil on steep slopes in the Taree-Karuah area.
