Eucalyptus roycei, also known as Shark Bay mallee, is a small tree endemic to a small area along the Gascoyne coast of Western Australia. It has rough bark on the lower trunk and smooth greyish bark above, with lance-shaped to curved leaves and cream-colored flowers. This mallee is fast-growing and tolerant of wind, drought, and frost, making it suitable for horticulture. It is found in the tree heath community in Shark Bay and is often grown in full-sun positions in well-drained soils. Although not considered very attractive, it is commercially available for use in bush or park settings. The species was first described in 1970 and is named after a member of the Western Australian Herbarium.
