Eucalyptus relicta is a unique species of mallee tree found only in a small area in the south west of Western Australia. It has distinct features such as rough bark, lance-shaped leaves, and flower buds in groups of seven to thirteen. The tree typically grows to a height of 7-12 meters and has a lignotuber. Its flowers bloom from January to February, but the color is unknown. This species was first described in 2004 and its name, "relicta", refers to its rare and isolated existence. Eucalyptus relicta is only found in two populations along creeklines in the Whicher Range and is classified as a "Priority Two" species by the Western Australian Government due to its limited distribution.
