Eucalyptus planipes is a type of mallee tree that is native to Western Australia. It is characterized by its smooth bark, lance-shaped leaves, and groups of three flower buds. The tree can grow up to 8 meters tall and has glossy green adult leaves. Its fruit is a woody, conical capsule with ribbed valves. This species was first described in 2001 and its name, planipes, refers to its flat pedicels. It is commonly found in low rises, sandplains, and open woodlands in the Kalgoorlie area. According to the Western Australian Government, it is not considered a threatened species.
