Eucalyptus microcorys, also known as tallowwood, is a tall tree native to eastern Australia. It has rough, fibrous bark and lance-shaped to egg-shaped leaves. The tree produces flower buds in groups of seven or nine and has white to lemon-yellow flowers. It is typically found in forests near the coast of Queensland and New South Wales. The tree can grow up to 70 meters tall and has a woody conical fruit. It was first described in 1860 and its name comes from the Greek words for "small" and "helmet". Tallowwood mainly grows in tall open forests on fertile soil and can be found from Fraser Island in Queensland to Cooranbong in New South Wales.
