Eucalyptus longirostrata, also known as grey gum, is a tree species found only in south-east Queensland. It has smooth grey bark, glossy green leaves, white flowers, and cup-shaped fruit. The tree can grow up to 30 meters tall and does not form a lignotuber. Its leaves are lance-shaped and the flower buds are arranged in groups of seven. This species was first described in 1934 and was later elevated to species status in 1988. It grows in open forests on hills and ridges in Queensland and is considered of least concern in terms of conservation.
