Eucalyptus hypostomatica, also known as Pokolbin box, is a tall tree native to New South Wales. It has rough bark on the trunk and lance-shaped leaves. The tree produces white flowers and barrel-shaped or conical fruit. It typically grows to a height of 30-40 meters and can be found in forested areas in the Pokolbin district, Kangaroo Valley, and Widden Brook. This species was first described in 1990 and its name is derived from the Greek words for "under" and "stomates," referring to the location of the stomates on the lower surface of the leaves.
